From verb to noun
verbrauchen → de Verbrauch (consumption); schützen → de Schutz; reduzéieren → d'Reduktioun. Nouns ending in -ung, -heet, -keet are feminine: d'Verschmotzung, d'Fräiheet, d'Nohaltegkeet.
The future with wäert
Formal future: wäert + infinitive. D'Temperaturen wäerte klammen. (The n of "wäerten" drops before k.) In conversation "ginn" or the present with a time word is more common: Muer gëtt et waarm.
